Who are Joslin Surveyors

Do I need an EPC?

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented out. You are required to order an EPC before you market your property to sell or rent with an Estate or Letting Agents, or advertising a property privately, or even selling the property to friend or family member.

An EPC contains information about a property’s energy use, typical energy costs and recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money. The report gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient), to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.

When Will I Receive my EPC?

We will email it to you with 24 hours, but normally the same day. We can also post the report if required.

Will you deal with my Tenant or Estate Agents for me?

Of course. We are used to booking in with tenants and estate agents, and have a team in the office who will carry out the booking, and explain what the purpose of our visit is for.

Is there anything else I need to know?

No, only that we will ensure 100% customer satisfaction but if you are not happy with our service, we will refund our fee, and the EPC is free. We are fully insured, accredited, and we look forward to working with you
